Each of the four stages in the evolution of captive leasing involved the realization of new opportunities. Today, a manufacturer’s fi nance company must be a strategic partner, meeting customers’ rising expectations. As with other forms of leasing, captive leasing relies on relationships that are complementary, despite the sometimes differing needs of the parties.
